Hypermelanistic Morph
This is by far the most popular morph being a jet black with red belly. In our breeding we have noticed that there are two different variations in scale gloss. One is a highly glossed finish and the other while still het bleach is a Matte finish.
Melanism is generally defined as an increase of dark pigment, resulting in a blackish appearance. Furthermore, the melanistic morph is a codominant mutation where the hets are shown to have darker examples then normal animals.
